Sriramulu pays the price on 4th occasion, submits paper  
After ignoring his threats to quit thrice earlier, the BJP has now accepted Tourism Minister Sriramulus resignation, mainly to please its coalition partner JD(S), which has to transfer power on October 3.
No deadline for Kumaraswamy  
Asked whether the CM would quit on or before the deadline, they said, the talks have begun and so the question of a deadline doesnt arise. If the CM resigns, there will be a constitutional crisis. So, he should not be resigning. ..

Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy will lay the foundation stone for 28 power sub-stations at Electronic City on October 1, said Power and PWD Minister H D Revanna on Saturday.
HDK is helpless CM, says Dharam  
Leader of the Opposition in Assembly N Dharam Singh on Saturday made a scathing attack on Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, for his failure to take action against Tourism Minister Sriramulu, for accusing the Chief Minister of hatching a conspiracy to kill him.
Cellphone ban from October 5  
The State government will ban the use of cellphones phones in schools and pre-university colleges from October 5, said Primary and Secondary Education Minister Basavaraj Horatti.
