Dalits support Yediyurappa

Several dalit organisations made a beeline to Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa’s official residence in Bangalore on Saturday and expressed their support to him.

The delegation had come in such large numbers that Mr Yediyurappa had to stand on a make-shift platform and had addressed the gathering.

Mr Yediyurappa expressed confidence that the power transfer would be a smooth affair and said he would open a separate cell for dalits to address their grievances.
