MLA J C Maadhu Swamy has done nothing in connection with the survey taken out here to provide drinking water to Shettykere and other villages from Hemavati basin, said Taluk BJP President Sreenivasamurthy.

Speaking to media persons he said  MLA J C Maadhu Swamy had told that it was not possible to  provide drinking water from Hemavati basin to  Shettykere region.  He had even made his stand clear with regard to this,  to the party members, he added. 

The survey has started as District  BJP Party President and Kallambella MLA K S Kirankumar  has worked hard for this.  It is ridiculous that JD (U) secretary and the party members are congratulating the MLA through news papers, stating that J C Maadhuswamy is responsible for the  survey which is being taken out here .

District BJP President K S Kirankumar  and fighting committee should get the credit in this regard, he said.

The government Degree College doesn't have the adequate staff.  MLA who is also the president of college committee has been urged to solve the problem at the earliest.

Deserving poor people were not given the BPL cards few years ago.  The taluk administration cancelled the card given to others and now, deserving people are being given BPL cards, following the protest staged by taluk BJP, he said.

Road and drainage works taken out by the taluk administration  lack quality.  Though the authorities concerned have received around 2 crore aid for the development, the works taken out by the authorities lack quality. 

Taluk BJP will stage a protest in this regard,  said Taluk BJP President Sreenivasamurthy.
