A committee has been formed to organise all the members of the taluk Bhattaraju community.

Madhavaraju has been appointed as the honourary president of the committee, Ramesh as the president, Parvathamma Krishnamurthy as the vice-president, Prasanna as the general secretary, K Pradeep as the secretary, Narasimha Murthy as the joint secretary, Gangadhara Raju as the organising secretary, C N Sunil as the treasurer, Nanjesh and Suresh as the directors.

The association secretary has informed that the Taluk Bhattaraju Association will be taking part in the rasta roko agitation, to be held in Tumkur on September 10, urging the Government to fulfill its various demands.

The rasta roko will be organised by Rajukshatriya community members, belonging to the socially backward class  and everyone belonging to the community must participate.
