Narayanappa of Rajakallahalli primary school has been conferred the the national teachers’ award.
Mr Narayanappa will be given the award on teachers’ day that is on September 5 by the President of India.
Mr Narayanappa has been working as a teacher since 25 years. He has worked at Harati middle school of Kolar taluk, and as In-charge head master too.
He has been known for his simplicity, punctuality and service mindedness throughout his impressive caree that has been a role model for others.
At present, Mr Narayanappa is the head master at higher primary school at Rajakallahalli in Kolar taluk.
Narayanappa who hails from Dodrahalli village of Hunkund in Bangarpet is the son of Hosadur Muniyappa and Muniyamma.
Mr Narayanappa who was pleased after the declaration of the award, said, that the award has brought more responsibility at work and also to introspect oneself in future.
He also said that there is more responsibility on his part now to work more for the progress of the school and make students inculcate discipline, good behaviour and conduct in the society.
