Release of salaries demanded
Kolar dhns: The state government should stop following slow tactics and take measures to release salaries for the state government employees for the month of July and August as early as possible, said karnataka state government employees’ district president L A Manjunath.
It has been noticed by the association that the treasury department is not accepting the payment bills till all the employees fill up the required forms under HRMS scheme and submit it to the treasury department. But in reality, a taluk level training is being provided to some employees under the HRMS scheme and some of the departments even do not have computers, he stated.
He also demanded to agree to the request that the HRMS scheme be implemented after two months wherein they had also submitted a memorandum to the chief secretary of the government and finance department after discussing in a meeting which included the office bearers of the association on August 28.
Manjunath has urged the government to give a time span of atleast two months and release salaries as early as possible.
Campaign about Indian breed cattle
Bangalore, dhns: The Ramachandrapura Mutt, on Sunday, organised a campaign to highlight the importance of protection and development of Indian breed cattle.
Gopal Krishna Bhat, convener of the mutt said the campaign ‘Gou Sandhya’ is to highlight the importance of the Indian breed cow that has been a companion of human beings for ages. “In addition to milk, the mother cow provides Panchagavya and looks after the well-being of mankind from birth to death. The Indian breed cattle is the backbone of agriculture and transportation in India,” he said.
The Gou Sandhya campaign aims to protect the Indian breed cattle in their pure form and nurture their existence.
