Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss on Sunday signed the degree certificates of three AIIMS resident doctors following a court directive in the controversial issue.
Three students have collected their degrees which also bear the signature of dean (Academics) R C Deka.
“Three students have collected their degrees which have been signed by the President and dean (A),” said sources.
The Delhi High Court on Friday observed that “innocent” students should not suffer because of the tussle between the government and AIIMS management over technicalities for issuing degrees. The court’s observation came in the wake of alleged refusal by the Health Minister and AIIMS President A Ramadoss to sign the degree certificates.
