Evershine High School and Holy Angels Higher Primary School won the overall championship in the boys and girls sections respectively in the Deccan Athletic Club’s weekend athletic meet which concluded at the Sree Kanteerava stadium here on Sunday.

While Evershine tallied 3190 points, Holy Angels had 2850 in their kitty to bag the top honours in the 19th edition which was held over last four Sundays.

On the concluding day, Manoj Raj H N and Nirupama Sunder Raj hogged the limelight by winning the 100M races in the boys U-16 and girls U-15 categories respectively -- their fourth victory in as many weeks.
