Tussle between two factions of the administration has led to altercation in a city technical institute, in the Championreep police station limits.

A complaint has been registered in the Champion reep police station by the founder Ashok Krishnappa that the original names of Golden Valley Institute of Technology, KGF Law Degree College, first grade college and first degree college run by GVIT Vidya Samsthe has been changed and also the original members are also changed.

Founder Ashok Krishnappa has alleged that since there is  dispute between two groups of the GVIT Vidya Samsthe and the case is in court, changing the name and members before a verdict amounts violation as the case is sub-judice.

Stay order

Especially since the court has issued a stay order with regard to changing of names and original members, and has ordered status quo till such time as an judgement is issued, changing of names amounts to contempt of court, he said. He also alleged that Dr Timmaiah has insulted the court by going against the order.
