Stop trips abroad and serve poor, legislator urged

Vartur constituency ZP member Vartur R Prakash urged the legislator K Srinivas Gowda to stop travel abroad and serve the poor, to prove their maturity of mind.

He also alleged that the local legislators were bringing pressure on the Congress party to oust him from the party.

He was speaking after distributing free spectacles to poor at a function jointly organised by the State Rahul Gandhi Youth Association and Dr Raj Kumar Fans Association at T Channaiah Rangamandira in the City.

He called a stop to mean political strategies and said ‘ five star hotel meetings will not oust me.’ He posed a challenge to try to oust him from the hearts of the people of Kolar.

Prakash also expressed his protest against Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy for first giving a cheap statement about the birth of former minister D K Shivakumar and later apologising.  He alleged that the chief minister should not continue in the post after making such a statement.

Mr Prakash cautioned the women folk that they can not walk freely on the streets if JD(S)-BJP comes to power. District Wakf board former president Sabeer Pasha said no body can stop Prakash from coming to Vartur.
District lawyers association president K R Dhanaraj, Suri, DSS’s T Vijaykumar also spoke on the occasion.
