Asian workers’ convention
Workers from across the Asia-Pacific region will come together under an umbrella organisation named International Trade Union Confederation — Asia-Pacific (ITUC-AP) in Bangalore on September 5.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, ICFTU-APRO General Secretary Noriyuki Suzuki and INTUC vice president N M Adyanthaya said the organisation would be formally launched at the ITUC-AP's two-day conference that starts in the City on Wednesday.
