Addressing mediapersons, Minister for Sericulture Sogadu Shivanna said that only 8331 people are yet to be given BPL cards in Tumkur City and 35324 families have already got the cards.

    The Chief Election Commission wants to limit the number of political parties in the country. Will it be a wise move?

Most responses favour restricting the number of political parties, as it is believed to check horse-trading and divisiveness of the nation based on region, religion and caste.
