Former prime minister H D Deve Gowda’s relative Suresh and his driver were injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling on, hit a KSRTC bus at Kenkere near here on Monday.

The Sports Utility Vehicle , which was on its way to Bangalore from Hassan, hit the bus coming from the opposite  direction, in an effort to overtake a private bus. Tumkur Milk Union President D Krishnakumar and other leaders rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to hospital. They were later shifted to a hospital in Bangalore for treatment.
