Legislator K Srinivas Gowda assured to sanction a site at Kuvempu Nagar in Kolar for taluk Photographers and Videographers’ Association.
He was speaking after inaugurating the photographers’ day at Kolar on Tuesday organised by the Kolar Taluk photographers and videographers’ association.
He also asserted that it is possible to be successful if photographers are committed to their profession.
Technical revolution has brought in a great change in photography and photographers must move with the time, he advised.
The MLA also assured sites to photographers from municipality and asked them to apply for it.
Blood donation
Blood donation camp was also organised on the occasion and 45 photographers donated blood.
Felicitation
Shankar Chintamani, from Chintamani, who was conferred “Rashtreeya Ratna” award was felicitated on the occasion. District surgeon Dr Ravi V Halakatti, City Development Authority former president D L Chandrashekhar, photographers and videographers’ association president Krishna and others were present.
