Jaycees will organise ‘Abhivriddhi 2007,’ a variety entertainment programme from September 5 to 11 as a part of Jaycees week.
The programme will commence on September 5 at Suntikoppa Manjunathaiah Meenakshamma Kalyana Mandir under the presidentship of Jaycees President P W Francis. Treasure Hunt and rural sports will be the highlights of the programme.

On September 6, a photo competition will be held in association with the Kushalnagar Cauvery Photographers’ Association. Under the banner ‘Shala Vaibhava,’ competitions for school students will be held on September 7.
Apart from these, various competitions for the Stree Shakti Groups, Self Help Groups and Anganwadi workers will also be held, said a press release from Programme Director Dinesh Poojary.
On September 8, mini Helicopter show and demonstrations by fire policemen on fire mishap management will be held at Government Model Primary School grounds at 2 pm and at 6 pm, a dance show has been organised.
On September 9 at 10.30 am, Junior Jaycees members will provide information on HIV/AIDS and at 6 pm ‘Adarsha Dampathi’ programme will be held. Calligraphy and drawing competition for students will be held the next day at 10 am and at 6 pm a musical concert by Jaycee Uday Nanjappa and troupe has been organised.
On September 11, the valedictory programme of Jaycee week will be held with a laughter session with G S Phanibhushan and Putturaj.
