SESHADRIPURAM WIN A THRILLER

Seshadripuram College edged out BMSCE 48-44 in the first round of  the third Canara Bank - Rahul Sebastian memorial inter-collegiate basketball tournament on Tuesday. Sameer’s game-high 16 points for BMSCE went in vain as Arun and Karthik scored 15 and 13 points respectively for the winners.

SBMJC beat Christ PUC 60-46 in another match.

Results:  SBMJC: 60 (Kaushal 23) bt Christ PUC: 46 (Abhijit 13, Minal 12); Seshadripuram: 48 (Arun 15, Karthik 13) bt BMSCE: 44 (Sameer 16, Kushal 10); RNSIT: 57 (Ashwin Reddy 18, Karan 17) bt Baldwins: 47 (Kevin 16).
