42 KAS officers transferred, 19 given fresh postings

In a major reshuffle of KAS officers, as many as 42 officers have been transferred. Besides, 19 junior officers undergoing training have been given postings.

The reshuffle comes at a time when the transfer of power from the JD (S) to the BJP is due in less than a month. The  notification was issued just on the eve of the model code of conduct for urban local bodies coming into effect.

The officers have been transferred to the following postings
Dr K N Chadrashekar: Chief Executive Officer, Bangalore Urban ZP; S H Kudrimothi: Chief Vigilance Officer, Health and Family Welfare Services; V G Diwakar: Registrar (Evaluation), Karnatak University; A N Ramachandrappa: general manager, Karnataka Silk Marketing Board; P A Maghannanavar: Commissioner, Belgaum City Corporation; S Rajaram: Project coordinator, Jala Samvardhana Sangha, Tumkur
K M Chandregowda: Technical advisor for textile commissioner;
