Forecast: Forecast valid until the morning of Wednesday: Moderate to rather heavy rain likely to occur at most places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada districts, at many places over Kodagu, Chikmagalur, Shimoga, Hassan districts. Light to moderate rain likely to occur at many places over remaining districts of Interior Karnataka. Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy to heavy rain may occur at a few places over Coastal Karnataka during next 48 hours. Heavy rain may also occur at isolated places over ghat areas of South Interior Karnataka during the same period.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.
