Seminar on student visas
The British Council will organise a seminar on student visas in the City through a video-conference from British Council, Chennai on September 10. It is aimed at students who have secured their admission from UK institutions for the September 2007 intake and are in the process of applying for visas. At the seminar Ryan Bennett, Entry Clearance Officer, UK Visas, will brief the students on the latest visa procedures. Hutch launches call filter service
Hutch launched a call filter service for its subscribers in India. This will enable subscribers to filter unwanted calls by blocking specific numbers. When a call is made from a blocked number, the caller will hear the message – “The Hutch subscriber you have called does not wish to receive your call right now, please try again later”.
