PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS

Save the falls
The decision to organise “Jalapatha Utsava” at Bharachukki Falls is not very advised. Tourists and nature lovers who would love to visit that place have to negotiate bad roads and bad infratrsuture all along the road. It’s sad that the Tourism department has not taken any initiative to arrange for the reconstruction of roads.
I hope environmentalists will join hands to voice their protest against the government’s decision to have an orchestra to play beside the waterfall. For, this move will destroy the natural beauty of its surrounding. I wish the State authorities would look into the issue and do the needful.
K Radhakrishna.

Need more buses
The BMTC authorities recently deviated bus numbers 243C, 243D, 243G and 243H though the Thunganagar on Magadi Main Road, instead of Herohalli Cross to Herohalli. This has been done without any valid reason.
People who traverse this stretch are put into extreme hardship. The bad roads and the insufficient buses are the main constraints. It’s a sheer waste of time. The buses stop on main Magadi Road at Herohalli Cross. And other buses 243 and 243B stop after Herohalli.
I hope the authorities will redirect bus numbers 243C, D, G and 243H or order to stop route number 243 and 243B at Magadi Main Road, before taking a turn towards Herohalli.
