It was a unique Teachers’ Day celebration, which the faculties of Garden City College won’t forget on Wednesday.

Teachers arrived at the college to receive an enthralling gift pack from management as Chairman Dr Joseph V G announced a new employment guarantee. The other gifts included terminal benefit schemes, loan schemes for buying two- and four-wheelers, grants for foreign trips and academic publication.
A programme was also held where students recalled contributions of teachers.
