The Union Cabinet will move the proposed Social Security Bill in the ongoing Parliament session, Union Minister of State for Labour Oscar Fernandes said on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the International Trade Union Confederation -Asia Pacific launch and conference, Fernandes said a final decision on the bill would be taken in the Parliament on Thursday.The bill, tipped to benefit workers in unorganised sectors, will feature death, health, disability benefits and pension.
