Department of Ophthalmology of Yenepoya Medical College will be conducting an eye-donation awareness campaign from September 6 to 8 in its premises as well as at Yenepoya Hospital in Kodialbail and Syed Madani Rural Hospital in Ullal, in observance of the National Eye Donation Awareness fortnight.

There will be a talk for school teachers and non-teaching staff of Akshara School in Mangalore on September 6 as part of the campaign. Other events during the campaign include an inter medical college poster competition on Eye Donation on Sept 7 and a CME programme on Sept 8 at the medical college campus under the aegis of the District Blindness Control Society of Mangalore and Karnataka Ophthalmic Society.
