Mum's milk makes this baby ill!  
An unusual case at Lakeside Hospital in Ulsoor, where high sodium content in breast milk, nearly proved fatal to a newborn baby has doctors puzzled.
Skill Commission launched  
The state government on Saturday announced the constitution of the Karnataka Skill Commission headed by Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa with an agenda to improve the skills of the youth for facilitating creation of 10 lakh jobs.
HK region students shy away from Geoinformatics course  
The newly introduced Post Graduate Diploma in Geoinformatics course by the Gulbarga university has been attracting students from elsewhere in the country but its own students have failed to opt for the high-tech course with immense career opportunities in various fields.
Installation of meters mandatory  
The state government has made installation of meters mandatory within a year to enjoy the benefit of free power to irrigation pumpsets with capacity less than 10 hp.
