Zee Kannada is launching a new reality show titled ‘Shrimathi Karnataka’ on September 28.

Speaking to media persons here on Friday, Producer of the show Sudha Sharma said that it is not a beauty contest for married women, but a show that gives homemakers irrespective of their ages and looks, a chance to show-off their home making abilities and win the title.

The show, first of its kind in Karnataka, will be telecast from Friday to Sunday. The show will evaluate the contestants based on several criterion like endurance, fiscal prudence, humour, physical fitness, costume designing, beauty makeover, compatibility, personality, aesthetic sense, persuasive skills, time management, spirit of adventure and culinary skills.

Married women, preferably of the age-group 21-44 can participate in this show. Screening will conducted in the four major cities Mysore (Sept 17), Mangalore (Sept 19), Hubli (Sept 21) and Bangalore (Sept 23). In Mangalore, the venue is the Water and Adventure sports centre in Sultan Battery.
