Kolkata designers are again here to grab the hearts of the Bangloreans with their charming designs and hand made wonders. Kolkata Boutique in association with Shanthiniketan Handcrafts is holding an exhibition which showcases exclusive array of designer wears and other decorative products.

Renewing the existing designs with complex weaves and wide variety of handmade works, this is what makes this exhibition an unique one. The exquisite embroidery and prints in charming colours spells vivacity and freshness to the clothes.

The exhibition showcases exclusive Kantha sarees, crepe sarees with Zardosi work, mix and match stitches along with kantha work, block printed sarees, tussar, silk and Bengali handloom sarees.  The saree price ranges from Rs 450 to Rs 6,000. The main attraction of the exhibitions is the exuberant collection of handmade fibre figurines of Ganesha, tribal show pieces and sculptures.  These wonderfully carved work of art are unbreakable and price ranges from Rs 50 to Rs 500.  Jute chappals with attractive designs cost Rs 150 to Rs 250.

Exclusive cushion covers, lehangas, blouse-pieces, kurtis, shirts, party wears, showpiece, leather bags, chappals and Bengali jewellry are also available in the exhibition. The exhibition will be open till September 11 from 10 am to 9 pm at Canara Union (8th Main, Malleswaram).
