Rakum School for the blind has launched a new website (www.rakum.org), as part of its 10th anniversary. The site has been designed to provide visitors with the latest news of the school’s initiatives, events and the progress of its top students.

The highlight of the website is the online easy-to-use donation feature. “Our supporters and well-wishers now have the convenience of making secure, online donations using a credit card, debit card, cash card or through internet banking. At the moment, we can only accept donations in rupees from anywhere across the world. Please register yourself and make a donation today on http://www.rakum.org/Login.aspx,” appealed Acharya Rakum, the founder of the school.

 He said donations in the past had not only provided the children with clothing and education but had also given them dignity and hope for the future. The school is supported by members of the IIM alumni along with other professionals.
