The seer arrived at the APMC premises at 11am and offered pooja at Ganapati temple near the office premises. The devotees offered him ‘padapooja’ on the occasion and chanted Vedic hymns.
The seer took out ‘padayatra’ from the temple to the market premises. APMC administrative members and staff along with traders gave him a grand welcome and also offered ‘pada pooja.’
Donations
In connection with Dasoha, the seer carried out ‘Bhikshatane’. Traders cutting across all castes and classes offered donations in the form of cash, vegetables, coconuts and other articles. The seer will visit Mandipete on Tuesday, and later M G Road and other areas on the next day, according to the mutt sources.
Junior pontiff Siddalinga Swamiji and others from the mutt accompanied the seer.
