Planting a sapling

Rajanet Yagneswaran Charitable have been organising community tree planning from a long time now. So far they have planted 250 tree saplings.

A joint effort

Tree planting is a joint effort of the  Trust and environment conscious citizens. BBMP has permitted planting of saplings and fixing of tree guards.

The volunteers of the organisation scout around, locate places and plant the saplings and then  the residents take the  responsibility  of nurturing it.

The Trust also plants trees in schools, Colleges, Old age homes and residential colonies. Some of  the tree have been in Koramangala. Senior citizens, children all take part enthusiastically.

Green City

To achieve a green Bangalore, the trustees appeal volunteers to come forward for scouting and locating places where willing residents will look after the saplings planted.

Generous contribution towards tree guards and planting of trees from the Corporate World  would generate an impetuous in our  Save Bangalore’ movement. Interested volunteers, willing residents and organisation can contact: 9845449703, email- rajanetyeg@hotmail.com
