Several parts of the city plunged into darkness on Tuesday following a technical failure at the E-8 Power Station in Nagawara. There was frequent power disruption at several areas like HBR Layout, Nagawara, Marathalli, Govindapura, Rashadnagar, Hennur Village, Lingarajpuram, Horamavu  and Tannisandra. Power supply was disrupt at around 2.20 pm and was  not restored till 10 pm.
