Corporation Bank Official Language Division along with the Marketing Team organised Gandhi Jayanti celebrations in Dakshina Kannada Zilla Parishat Higher Primary School in Pandeshwar on Monday, with a view to inculcate the habit of simplicity, social concern, cleanliness and swadeshi spirit among the student community. 

General Manager B R Bhat in his inaugural address highlighted the message of cleanliness and sacrifice and appealed the students to follow the spirit behind the celebrations of Gandhi Jayanthi, according to a press release. He appealed the students to adopt Gandhian philosophy which is most relevant in the present environment.

Chief Manager of Official Language Division Dr J P Nautiyal  and Headmistress B Usha Kumari also spoke on the importance of Gandhian ideology.

 The students along with officials from Corporation Bank cleaned either sides of the main road from the school to Corporation Bank’s corporate office on the occasion.
