Gandhi Education Centre, MGM, College celebrated the 138th birth anniversery of Mahatma Gandhi by releasing a book on Gandhiji titled “Indu eruva Gandhi” by Historian Prof V R Hebbar on Tuesday.

The programme was presided over by K K Pai.

Veteran Gandhian S R Shenoy was felicitated on the occasion.

 Addressing the gathering Mr Hebbar regretted that today’s generation is unaware of Gandhi’s contributions to the nation.

He said that a day may come in future, when children may question Gandhi’s identity and existence.
MGM College Principal Dr Jayaprakash Mavinkuli and others were present on the occasion.
