35% discount on khadi materials
Khadi and Rural Employment Committee has announced  35% discount on khadi materials, said District Khadi Officer B Jyoti.

Khadi materials are being sold at arebate of 35%.  Interested persons are requested to utilise the offer that has been announced on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. The offer will continue for few more days, she said.
 Gandhi Jayanti: Gandhi Jayanti and International  Non-Violence day were celebrated at Khadi and Rural Employment Committee’s Office on Tuesday.  Khadi and Rural Employment Department District Development Officer B Jyoti presided over the event. She explained the Khadi and Rural Employment Committee’s activities on the occasion. Around Rs 77crore has been fixed for the development of 67units under Rural Employment Scheme. She even called on rural people to utilise the facility. Khadi Committee H S Hanumante Gowda welcomed the gathering. H V Nagaraj proposed vote of thanks.

Industrial body set to open  
Inauguration of Hirehalli Industrialists Association will be held on October 4 at Hirehalli Industrial area.
Sidda Ganga Mutt seer Dr Shivakumara Swamiji will preside over the inaugural function. Minister for Silk Sogadu Shivanna will inaugurate the event. MLA K N Rajanna, Deputy Commissioner S R  Umashankara and Police super indent P Harishekaran will participate in the event. Association President N Sukumaraiah will be the chief guest, said a release. The inauguration will be held at 10.30 am.

Training on poultry farming
Training on poultry farming will be held at Veterinary Department Doctors training  centre. The training which begins on October 4 culminates on October 6.  People can participate in the training programme. Interested persons are requested to be present on October 4 at 10.30am.
