Jewels of India, a leading jewellery retail exhibition-cum-sale is back for the ninth time in a row, to be held between October 20 and 23 at Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium. This year, Bollywood actress Bhagyashree will be the face of the Jewels of India campaign.
What’s in store
The ninth annual exhibition will see sale of gold, diamonds, platinum, gems and fine jewellery from across India and abroad providing the much-needed choice for the customer in jewellery under one roof. Over 100 exhibitors will display their products at the show.
A release quotes Sandeep Bekal, convenor, Expoworld as saying, “The much awaited jewellery exhibition serves as the ideal venue to showcase traditional and modern jewellery designs. The Indian woman is very trend conscious. Women no longer wait for any occasion to purchase gold.
Experiments aplenty
They are experimenting at a rapid pace, trying out various designs and styles. Timed appropriately ahead of the forthcoming festival and wedding season, Jewels of India promises to be a truly exciting jewellery shopping experience for customers.”
Good variety
A release states that this year the exhibition will feature a wide variety of jewellery right from the exquisite Kundan and Meenakari work from Jaipur, the handcrafted gold jewellery from Kolkata, antique jewellery and traditional gold jewellery from Tamilnadu, designer wear diamond jewellery from Mumbai, modern Italian gold jewellery and much more. For the first time, the show features an international pavilion with collections from Thailand.
