Bathroom decor

Kohler Co recently launched its showroom in Bangalore at Sunrise, Outer Ring Road, Dodda Banaswadi. The store showcases an array of unique bathroom products including toilets, lavatories, faucets, bathtubs, whirlpools and showers.

Kohler aims to expand its presence across the country by opening 70 showrooms. The company will distribute its products in Bangalore through Kohler showrooms operated by independent dealers.

Sharad Mathur, VP and Commercial Director, Kohler India Corp Pvt Ltd, states in a release, “With the ushering boom in real estate market, Bangalore has emerged as a distinguished leader. In order to contribute to the sanitaryware industry’s evolution in the city, we have launched our store here. ”

The store showcases a wide range of products including toilets (two-piece, one-piece, wall-mount), lavatories (Vessels, pedestal, self-rimming, undercounter, vanity-top, semi-recessed), faucets, baths, whirlpools and showers.

The wide variety targets mid-to high-end consumers with a competitive price range that starts from Rs 2200 for faucets, Rs 2560 for lavatories, Rs 6330 for toilettes and goes up to Rs 1,00,000 for high-end custom showering products. The latest of Kohler’s products — Singulier and Oblo faucet, WaterTile™, Escale™ and Presqu’ile™ toilets and lavatories will also be available, the release adds.

New designer store

Chola, an exclusive designer store was launched in the City last week. Run by husband-wife duo Sanjay and Shammy Choraria, Chola offers pesonalised wardrobe solutions.

The store specialises in authentic couture line, customised clothing solutions for men, wedding trousseu, designer suits, party shirts, clubwear, loungewear, ties, honeymoon wear and pregnancy wear.

At the store launch, a fashion show to display the different creations at Chola was held. The event was directed and choreographed by Aroon Gowda. Chola is at Rishab Embassy, 2nd Floor, Lady Curzon Road.

Decking it up

Yamini introduces festive glass and beaded votives and votive holders made of sand stone, which are composites mixed from sand, cement, special glue and other materials. The glass and beaded votives are perfect accessories for the table decor and are priced at Rs 450 each. There are also festive runners in silk and brocade panels in silk in white and brown panels. There are new beaded and sequined napkin rings.

The runners are priced at Rs 1650 and the napkin rings are available as a set of six priced at Rs 595.

Festive collection

Anuradha Gupta, fashion designer from Mumbai is showcasing her festive collection of beautiful georgette, exquisite embroideries and stunning silks at Kahawa Gallery for Designs. Anuradha has worked with stores like Zedds, Ananya, Cypress amongst others.

She also supplies to stores in London, Los Angeles and Nairobi. Her collection includes kurtis, long tops, strappy sizzlers and bust tie-up tops. Shell work enhanced with beads, patchwork and great combinations make up the collection. The exhibition cum sale is on from October 4 to 6. The sale is on from 11 am to 8 pm at the store at Kareem Towers, Cunningham Road.

Saree sale

Tejal Doshi Pande is conducting an exhibition of sarees, dupattas and stoles, kurtas for women and men at Cinnamon, 11 Walton Road, off  Lavelle Road, from October 4 to 6 ffom 10 am to 7 pm.

Art and crafts exhibition

Mrittika Foundation presents the “Leela Showcase”, a contemporised version of the arts, crafts and textiles of Bengal, for a unique fashion and lifestyle experience at an exhibition and sale at the “Raintree”, Sankey Road, on October 4, 5 and 6, between 10 am and 7 pm on all days.
