Art for Concern
Art for Concern— an exhibition-cum-sale of contemporary Indian art in aid of Concern India Foundation will be held on Sunday, October 7 at The Oberoi. The exhibition is supported and partnered by The Oberoi, Bangalore.
The exhibition will showcase the finest collection of 140 paintings by eminent artists from across the country. The participating artists include S G Vasudev, V Solanki, Suman Roy, Paresh Hazra, G Subramanian, Shankar Kendale, Basuki Dasgupta, Doddamani, Subhamita Dinda, Bal Bakhta Raju, Pramod Apet, S Krishnappa, C F John, Mohammed Rizwan, Bhaskar Rao, Laxman Aelay, Sachin Jaltore, Abhijeet Mollick, Dimpy Menon, amongst others, states a release.

Gourmet bazaar
Food aficionados are in for a treat this Saturday, October 6, as Olive Beach plays host to yet another edition of Gourmet Bazaar. The culinary experience will include homemade jams, preserves, chocolates, organic produce, cured meats, cheese, along with tableware, fun kitchen accessories and more. The Gourmet Bazaar is held every month, states a release.
The Gourmet Bazaar will see Olive Beach dressed in colourful striped awnings, typical of a European market place with rustic wooden boards proclaiming the fare on offer, chequered table cloths and picnic baskets for the shoppers to carry their goodies in.
A select group of exhibitors will offer a range of foods, while chefs from the restaurant will give visitors live demo of tasty eats. The bazaar will be held from 11 am to 4 pm, this Saturday. For details call: 41128400.
