BJP legislators want party to withdraw support to government
At a meeting of the ministers representing BJP in the coalition government and party legislators, chaired by Chief Ministerial candidate B S Yediyurappa, a majority of BJP legislators pushed for pulling out of the government and facing mid-term polls.
BJP ready for elections if JD(S) refuses to handover power: Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa.
 The party to take a final decision tomorrow.

Karnataka cabinet convenes session on Oct 18 to seek floor test
The Karnataka cabinet on Friday decided to convene a session of the state legislature on October 18 apparently for a floor test, in fresh signs that the JD(S) was not keen on transferring power to the saffron party.
