Cauvery School had organised several programmes on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

 Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated by planting saplings in the school premises. Institution Secretary Gangappa inaugurated the function.    Speaking on the occasion, he said youth should follow the Gandhi's principles in their life. Moreover, Gandhi’s thoughts are still  relevant today.  Children should inculcate Gandhi’s ideologies with the intention of building progressive India. They must contribute towards it, he added.

Administration Officer Siddagangappa presided over the function and said “we  must take Gandhi’s truth and non violence path”. Administration Committee Director Lingaraju said one must always think of giving good things to the  society.  Headmasters Lakshminarayana Sharadishayana, Rudresh Kumar shared their opinion with the students. Students Muskan, Naseem Taj, Kusuma, Meenakshi and Ranjani delivered their speech on Gandhi and his life.  Uddappa welcomed the gathering. Savita compered  the programme.
