Joe, Vadiraj have it easy
Francis Joe and Vadiraj notched up easy wins in the 38th state senior snooker tournament in KSBA on Sunday.
Joe defeated R Vijaya Prasad 3-0 (61-38, 64-24, 61-31), while Vadiraj blanked R A Kunal Raj 62-23, 48-38, 55-43.

Junior boxing  selection trials
Karnataka Amateur Boxing Association will conduct the State junior boxing selection trials on October 11 at the SAK Boxing Hall, Sports Authority of Karnataka, Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore-1.

Boxers born in the years 1990-92 are eligible to take part. Players are requested to bring original date of birth certificate and a xerox copy along with two passport size photographs at the time of medical and weigh-in on the trials day at 7.30 am at the venue.

Selected boxers will represent the State in the Junior National Boxing Championships to be held from October 25 to 30 at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Warangal, Andhra Pradesh. For further details, contact J Vincent (9341252859).
