In view of Dasara festival, the KSTDC will start special package tours from Bangalore, Mysore and Hospet from October 11.

There is a four-day tour to Kemmangundi, Bhadra project, Shimoga, Kuppalli and Sringeri from Friday to Monday. The tariff is Rs 1,750 per person.

Two-day tour covers Shimoga, Madyaranga, Talakadu,  B R Hills, K Gudi, Nanjangud, Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills.

The two-day tour, which starts every Friday and Saturday at 7 am, will return at 10.30 the second day.
It covers Shimsha, M M Hills, B R Hills, K Gudi, Nanjangud and Mysore palace.

The north Karnataka tour includes Tungabhadra dam, Hampi, Badami, Aihole, Pattadkallu, Bijapur and Kudala Sangam a. It will begin every Thursday at 10 pm and return on Monday at 6 am.

The five-day tour to Goa, Gokarna and Jog Falls will start every Thursday at 9 pm and return on Monday at 6 am.  The fare is Rs 1,900  per person. Fares include accommodation.
