A software firm cheated several techies of crores of rupees.
Police registered a complaint against Coprinas Inc, a software development company operating from 80th Feet Road in Koramangala.
According to the police, 110 engineers and BTech graduates deposited huge sums and received appointment letters from the firm.
They earned peanuts as salaries, while the company had promised them a hefty packet. However, none went against the company.
“I paid Rs 2 lakh last month and joined the company. I haven’t received a single penny so far. Since I came to know about the firm through a placement agency, I don't know anything about directors,” said an engineer from Andhra Pradesh, who was also cheated.
So far, no arrests have been made. Police have yet to obtain details on owners.
