Addressing a press meet, here on Monday, Nagarjuna Virodhi Horata Samithi Working Committee President Vijay Kumar Hegde alleged that Nagarjuna is a fraud company without any financial credibility in the society and urged for an immediate CBI enquiry regarding the working process of the company.

The company is also changing with its earlier statement of generating 1015 mega watts of power from this plant, now it has been increased to 1,200 mega watts, he added.

Mr Hegde also gave a clue regarding the formation of state-level Horata Samithi with former Lokayuktha Venkatachalayya as its president to fight against the planned coal based power plants at Bijapur, Hassan, Tumkur etc.

He also informed about the protest rally which is scheduled to be held on October 21, as a step towards intensifying the fight, in  which participants from all walks of life like members from religious institutions, student unions, women associations, farmers union and real estate agents etc are expected to participate
He expressed his confidence over the favourable outcome of the verdict from the Supreme Court.
