Department of health started a diet centre at Kushalnagar community health centre for the in patients. The centre was inaugurated by Zilla Panchayat Health and Education Standing Committee President V P Shashidhar on Monday.

Addressing the gathering, Mr Shashidhar said that the supply of diet food was stopped for some years. Now the department of health has come forth to provide diet food to the poor patients.  Along with the food other additional nutritious sources such as fruits, bread and milk will also be supplied.

Taluk Panchayat member G R Pushpalatha, Taluk Health officer Dr V Shivaramnayak, Town Panchayat officer N L Kenchappa and others were present on the occasion.
