Udupi Karnataka Dalit Sangarsha Samithi demanded the cancellation of transfer order of Udupi Superintendent of Police Dr Subramanyeshwar Rao.

Speaking to the media persons on Monday, KDSS State Co-ordinator, Uday Kumar Tallur, said there is some sort of political conspiracy behind the transfer order, which should be reviewed taking into consideration the services rendered by the SP to the district. Mr Rao was a people’s man and had special concern towards Dalits. He had his contributions in making Udupi district a model district of development, he added.
