BJP will organise protest convention against the Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy’s decision not to hand over power to BJP, on October 9 at Nehru Maidan in Mangalore, said former district-in-charge minister B Nagaraj Shetty. However, with the political developments taking place in the state capital, an uncertainty has prevailed over the convention.
Addressing a press meet, he said the convention will be attended by former deputy chief minister B S Yediyurappa, BJP leader Ananth Kumar, State BJP President D V Sadananda Gowda.
He said JD (S) leaders have violated ‘rajadharma.’ Chief Minister’s family is involved in political game, he alleged.
Mr Shetty said “a wave has been raised in favour of BJP throughout the state. People are speaking of power transfer in every nook and corner of the State. BJP is ready to face election at any time,” he added. He said “UPA government in the Centre is also counting its days. Election may be announced at any time for Lok Sabha and Legislative Assembly.”
