As many as six chikungunya cases have been detected in Kodimbadi, Kadaba, Renjaladi and Nooji Balthila villages of Puttur taluk and Belalu of Belthangady taluk.
According to a press release from DHO Dr H Jagannath said vehicles have been provided to taluks to undertake fogging in the affected regions. Treatment centres have been opened to dispense medicines for the affected.
