The community and its leaders reacted strongly against the Kunigal BJP strong manSuresh Gowda’s  statements about it.

“Suresh Gowda has made statement on Friday that the entire Vokkaliga community has been insulted because the JD(S) failed to transfer power to the BJP.”

 On behalf of the  Vedike G  L Narendra Babu took severe offense to the statement.

“ The Vokkaliga community has been an integral part of the society. We are hard working and sincere part of the state and have our traditions and customs. It is therefore unacceptable that a statement like this is made about the community for political over tones” her added.
