Two children drowned at the Hosakere lake when they had gone for a swim on sunday afternoon. The two were residents of Koratgere. The y have ben identified as Ahmed (15) and Wasim Akram (13).

The two had gone for a swim on Sunday afternoon in the lake but did not how to swim. Therefore the two of  them drowned. The Koratgere police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

Murder
A young man was arrested on the  charge of murdering his own  father here in Koratgere. Maruthi is said to have murdered his own father  Rajjana last month. Sources say that a family dispute was the reason for Maruthi to take this  extreme step.

The accused has been sentenced to judicial custody.
