Turn of events ruffles Gowda
Bangalore, DHNS:

Amidst the hectic political activity over the power transfer, former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda on Monday decided to take a break to attend an Iftar party hosted by the JD(S).

Displaying his ‘secular image’ Mr Gowda was all geared up for the occasion, sporting a ‘Fez’ he exchanged a few traditional hugs as he stepped down from his car. Refusing to speak to the waiting media persons, the former prime minister went to the prayer area, even as the others present on the occasion offered namaz.

Later he headed to the dais where he was seated next to senior Congress leaders Jaffer Sharief and Roshan Baig. Even as others broke their fast by helping themselves with the scrumptious meal spread over the table, Gowda was busy speaking on his cell phone.

He was probably getting all the latest updates on the the JDLP which was on at the same time.
Even as he was over the phone it was clearly visible that he looked upset over the turn of events at Krishna, the home office of the CM. Later, obliging to the shutter bugs, he struck a few poses.
