Kannada play
Kriyative Theatre is presenting three more shows of the popular comedy ‘Heegadre Hege?’, based on the writings of well-known Kannada humourist, T Sunandamma. ‘Heegadre Hege?’  is scripted by playwright, K Y Narayana Swamy and directed by Pramod Shiggaon.

The performers include popular theatre and television artistes, Sunder and Laxmi Chandrashekar.  The play will be performed at the Rangashankara on September 29 and 30, 7.30 pm onwards. There is also a matinee show at 3.30 pm on September 30.

Pizza for charity
As part of its fund-raising activity, Samarthanam Trust is observing this entire week (till September 30) as Samarthanam Charity Pizza Week. Pizza joints like Pizza Hut, Domino's Pizza and Pizza Corner have come forward to extend their support during this special week.

The trust hopes to collect an order of 1,000 family pizzas. According to the release, the trust has requested people to consume the family pizza, at least for one meal.

A purchase of two family pizzas for Rs 1,200 will help take care of one visually impaired child's food, education and shelter expenses for one month. Orders can be placed even for one family pizza at Rs 600.

To purchase a pizza, one needs to send an email expressing willingness to place on order on any day before September 30. The contact numbers and postal address where the pizzas have to be delivered need
Delivery of pizzas will be made by the pizza companies. Samarthanam employees will co-ordinate with the customer over the phone /email and make arrangements for collection of the money.
